En quelques mots

Duck and Sauternes are two local products from the South West of France. It was therefore logical to combine them in a terrine delicately flavoured with Sauternes wine.

Sauternes is a sweet white wine produced in the Bordeaux region (southwestern France). It is made from the Sémillon, Sauvignon Blanc and Muscadelle grapes. These grapes are grown in a climate conducive to the formation of noble rot, a beneficial type of mould that concentrates the sugars and aromas in the grapes.

The sweetness of the Sauternes contrasts perfectly with the richness of the duck meat, while the aromas of candied fruit and spices blend perfectly with the spices of the Duck Terrine with Sauternes. Together, the Sauternes duck terrine and the wine create a perfect marriage of rich and elegant flavours.
